In most of the metropolitan cities drainage will be a major problem for the people. This is just because the in/out flow of the water will not be in proper manner. Due to this at time of rainy seasons more quantity of the water will get stagnated at one place will rise of new diseases causing bacteria.

In this busy world everyone is running for their future and being selfish. They are taking care of themselves and leaving back the environment.

They way of thinking will be like “only me, I don’t bother about others”. But I my words its entirely wrong manner I would say “I am with others, and I keep my Entire environment nice and health”. As the increase in the residential areas in the cities and towns, there will be a problem of the drainage system.

Effects of Improper Drainage

Many people are living in gated/non-gated communities will produce lot of wastewater. They should think about the linking with the proper drainage facility. Due to lack of awareness and responsibility they are releasing the wastewater directly or to the water bodies like lake and rivers.

Due to this environment and water bodies get polluted that give to the birth to the disease-causing bacteria.

In every cities and towns the corporation and municipality officers are assigned a special route for drainage facility. So that water can be flown in proper manner.

They have built an underground drainage utility facility for flow of wastewater. And manholes are built on the top of it for checking and inspection purpose.

But with an increase in population and human needs, the waste obtained will be in a lot of gallons. As a result, the wastewater will flow on the roads and streets that will cause contamination and accidents.

With my personal experience once I went to Hyderabad in the mid rainy season. The rain started in the morning and started drizzling till afternoon on some work I went to main road and got so shocked to accept that is the main traffic junction it was covered up to 3 feet of water and people are facing difficulties to move forward and the traffic is get stuck.

The municipal officers are trying hard to solve the issue.

Beside I saw there was open man-hole which was left with no sign boards left. All the waste water is going into the man-hole and some poor soul also dragged into it which left them dead.

Things we should consider for easement of Drainage Utility
As per the consideration, a major problem for drainage facility is corruption, you may think why?

Let me explain if you want construct a building we should get the proper plan approval of the building as well as drainage facility if everything according to records the authorities I will give approval for construction.

Some of them are grabbing government lands and getting approval without any inspection by bribing the officers with some fancy amount.

By this, they will not provide any drainage facility and release the wastewater to the water bodies that are using for drinking purpose and get contaminated.

As are a result at the time of rainy seasons the roads get flooded and cause serious damage to the life and properties.

So it’s not only the government responsibility but also ours to see that things are going in the right way by providing the proper way to the drainage and waste.

Devolved countries use much more advanced features than ours even though their population was increasing they follow the strict rules and regulations. We also need to follow the right way and make our city and home beautiful.
